FOR THE LOVE OF NUDITY!! xoxo

To satisfy, my growing obsession for nude shoots, I decided to do some more reading and more ‘research’ on nude photographer and it’s interesting the history behind ‘nude photography’! Too bad history isn’t  my favorite word. Now the real deal..

Not many Ghanaians appreciate anything that has to do with ‘nudity’. I must admit I grew up to associate the word NUDE with NEGATIVE but just like everything else, that perception is gradually fading…yep.  I came across something that had me thinking twice: ‘FINE ART NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY’. I read on and got to know that, this form of nude photography is different from ‘erotic or pornographic photography’. Fine art nude, showcases pure art; the beauty of figures, lighting, shadows and movement. Let me demonstrate with images from my new-found love, André Brito.

Ghanaians can think or pretend to think what they want but NUDITY rocks! Okay, wait..now this is getting scary! I’m beginning to sound like a ‘nudity-freak’! lol. I see myself doing some more nudes..in the very near future (hehehe) some more photos from around ;)

CHIC CHIC CHIC

Once again, I hovered around my favorite fashion site; Shadders to find out what her picks for the day was. ‘HOUSE OF ABEYTU’!! Well, this is my first encounter with this label and the designs?? Very simple and classy! The key words are simple and classy. Really really simple! Okay, I don’t know how else to express how simple the designs are…maybe the images would do just that! The best part of it is, the designs are basically in African prints. Things are happening

House of Abeytu – “Allow Yourself To Be Fabulous”

The international label HOUSE OF ABEYTU (pronounced House of Abee-Tu) is bringing the world of African prints and fabrics to the Western world in a way never done before. FAT &UGLY??NOT ANYMORE

This is the twenty-first century. A century of peak creativity and craziness. A period of drunkenness and backwardness, a period of poverty and extravagance.

…I’m not a century analyst. That’s not even what this article is about…i wondered off, my apologies.

Have you ever wondered how fashion models came to be so skinny?? Well I’ve wondered too, and i don’t know why

What I know is, the pattern has changed! Meaning? Fat ‘booties’ are flooding the runways!! Let’s take a closer look (with Ghanaian examples, of course)

Exopa: Introduced the ‘X plus fashion show’. In a matter of minutes, there were fat women with their big boobs, pouring all over the place during the auditions. The catwalk was a bliss…hips swinging left and right, ready to hypnotize  (hehehee)

Somewhere in recent times (don’t know the date) I happened to accidentally stumble on a beauty pageant being advertised on the TV and it was for the ‘fat and beautiful’

On the world stage???  Take a look at these pics

big mama doing her thing

they definitely want their share

Fat and ugly? Not anymore!

The big mama’s want their share..definitely! Eat up, grow fat…there’s a stage for you!!

(hehehee)
